    Old news. It’s happening years. All I says is Noonan contractors are all over where I work. Seems normal so far… Shock horror the number 2 in charge just happened to run noonans. But I’m sure it’s coincidence they got every contract after she came to work for my “unnamed health” facility.

    It’s rampant. And instead of senior managers reporting corruption to the Garda Siochana, they just cover it up because so many of them are doing the same themselves.

    It this was the US, there’d be people serving years in jail.

    comes from the top – former ministers are now on the boards of pharma firms they were supposed to be regulating for the benefit of the citizen, (whilst nothing untoward may exist here, at the very least it looks like a conflict causing one to consider decisions made in the past)

    Until this kind of stuff stops becoming an investigation followed by a recommendation and ends up being an investigation followed by loss of job and pension and possibly jail or substantial fine. Then this will always happen. If somebody did lose their job and pension, the unions would step in …

    Public procurement, contract awards and tenders might well warrant greater scrutiny. It’s a cesspit IME.
