Rare pictures from 2014 of the sadly endangered Ili Pika.
Part rabbit, part adorable rock-climbing teddy-bear, it lives in the Tian Shan mountains of China and was originally discovered in 1983 by conservationist Li Weidong.
Its numbers have dwindled alarmingly since then.

The reason they are so endangered is because they are so damn cute
The Chinese, their reputation for environmental conservation and kindness towards animals is unsurpassed. A great bunch of lads.
