Niamh Sherlock at the Downs Syndrome Centre writes:
A wonderful Mum who is involved with the centre and who is doing the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon for us was out training yesterday and lost her engagement and wedding ring.
The route she ran was along Collins Avenue, Swords Road, Griffith Avenue and Killester [Dublin]. As you can imagine she is devastated and hoping for a miracle.
We know it’s a long shot but perhaps one of your readers may live in the area and happen upon them. If anyone finds them they can contact Niamh in The Down Syndrome Centre on 01 661 8000 and she will pass the details on.
Anyone?

The Iona Institute is alleging that the gays stole the rings.
Strange, how do you lose two rings when you’re jogging?
Sometimes my hands swell up when I’m running. Maybe she took them off and put them in a pocket and forgot to zip up the pocket?
It was warm yesterday, taking off tops, maybe she’d lost a little weight during her training program, so the ring we loose. Fingers crossed she gets them back..
If she had her fingers crossed, she wouldn’t have lost them in the first place.
Do we know what sides of each road she was jogging on to narrow it down.Is there a map of the exact route she took
