What you may need to know.

1. We must admit. We’re pretty stoked about Fury Road [in most cinemas next week]

2. What better way to warm up than with a double-bill of the first two Mad Max films? [At selected cinemas this week]

3. We do love that ’70s Warner Brothers logo.

4. Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome (1985) is notable by its absence from this weekend’s big screen presentation.

5. Yes, Mel Gibson was originally going to be in Fury Road.

6. Broadsheet Prognosis: The concept of classic Max on the big screen is too good to resist.

Release Date: Cinemas across Ireland THIS WEEKEND.

i pray this film is decent.
Mad max was a childhood favourite of mine – I was probably way too young to watch it but hey.
If this is muck i’ll cry like I did when george clooney ruined batman.

        Yea… confusing

Still wondering what this post is about, kind of hoped they were screening MM 1 & 2 somewhere before showing the new one :-(

… and yes I’d watch 3 if they showed it

I saw the first Mad Max on TG4 years ago, and they had an American dub over everyone including Mel Gibson because of their accents. Haha. Fury Road can’t be worse than that. Mad Max 2 is the best one, Thunderdome is almost a slapstick comedy and those fuppin’ desert children….
