I’ve always found the Irish Sun’s insistence on using “ma” and “da” in its headlines really incongruous. Like they’re trying that bit too hard to make it seem like they’re not an English paper at heart.
Also, poor “Nad”.

Well they only use it in their Irish edition, it would be “mum” in the UK version. I know it’s a handy word for tight spaces but it reads really badly. “Ma”, for jaysus sakes!
