   Let RTE into the real world without out the TV tax we pay to ensure it’s survival/high salaries of average presenters.

   Why is the Greek public broadcaster amazeballs to the Irish left, but RTE is a bastion of Government spin? By all accounts both are/were top heavy institutions, lavishly funded by the taxpayer. From what I gather the Greek version only discovered a rebellious streak once the expensive pay and perks were put on the chopping block.
