I hope tourists going to Greece will be savvy enough to bring enough cash with them, rather than relying on cards or ATMs.

According To Brush Shiels, on his recent trip to Greece, the vendors only wanted cash. Does that suggest they are avoiding paying tax?

No more than usual to be honest, Kdoc; the only difference currently is that it’s become an official practice, but it’s always been an unofficial code of conduct, unless you go to the more upmarket parts of cities; restaurants; bars; clubs etc… However, to be on the safe side, a tourist will need to ascertain before they go anywhere to eat/ drink/ rent a car, whether they accept cards or not, so it’s better just having access to cash.

I was in Athens on Wednesday and Thursday. In a lot of bars and restaurants there was a problem with the credit card and only cash was accepted. Yeah, right. Fortunately, I go to Athens so often for work, I always bring cash with me as you just never know.

Maybe he had the fear. I don’t answer the door either when I’m on drugs, eh, I mean, when I have the fear.

Mo should sue all of them and set up a cancer foundation with funky wristbands.

That dude on the front of The Times all dressed up looks like Denis O’Brien. Denis probably dresses up like that at home anyhow.

Wonder who was meant to be on the early shift this morning? Probably had a couple of vinos last night :-D

Isn’t it time you stopped showing us the The Sun’s front page as well as other English tabloid rags?
