   ok, as far as i can make out,,, now don’t quote me on this, but it seems the reason for the smoke is there is a fire on Sir John Rogersons quay….

   A carpet shop and a lighting shop both next door to each other there. Potentially not a good mix.

   Looks like the vacant space where they shoot a lot of TV and film stuff is on fire

   It’s the site they are demolishing that backs onto windmill lane. I’m working beside it – just a lot of smoke and the fire trucks left after about 10 minutes.
