Kenilworth Bowling Club, Grosvenor Square, Rathmines, Dublin 6
By Aoife Herrity, a Dublin-based photographer.
Aoife sez:
“This is from a current project that I’m working on. It’s in the early stages but basically I’m exploring the link between public spaces and agoraphobia…I’m big into research so I like to collect anything that I feel will inform the subject matter; songs, articles, films, poetry – anything that helps to add depth and story to the image…”

“I’m exploring the link between public spaces and agoraphobia”
Quick google def: “extreme or irrational fear of open or public places.”
Ya, that confused me too.
It’s a nice picture. The text makes me want to vomit though.
Yep
Avoid the MART in rathmines so. I’d imagine it’s where herself is based.
“agoraphobia”
Fear of scrapping.
“A-G
A-G-R
A-G-R-O
AGRO”.
I’m exploring the casual relationship between this photographer and reality.

Well, to give her the benefit of the doubt for a moment, it could be argued that certain sorts of public spaces (eg museums, urban plazas, etc) can be socially terrifying, while other sorts (presumably bowling greens) can foster “the serenity”.
But, yes, it does sound like a whole lot of nonsense really.
