Watch them run.

Nice offer in The Herald today. Is a greyhound stadium really a great family day out?
A gentle blooding in the sport of queens?
Or unseemly spectacle not fit for pet/mechanical lure-loving tykes.
YOU must decide.

Funnily enough, Ireland is one of the few places on earth where you don’t even need to be able to see over the counter to place a 20 cent bet legally.
It all went to the dogs ever since Bord na gCon saw themselves more in the business of property development, alcohol sales and providing entertainment rather than being the state-funded custodians of greyhound racing.
Sell the lot of these stadiums, pay the debts, abolish Bord na gCon and go back to grass roots greyhound racing. The taxpayer can do without this carry-on which has been allowed to go on for years and years with zero oversight and zero accountability.
Bord na gCon are definitely far from perfect, but aiming to provide entertainment isn’t really a flaw.
What exactly is wrong with grey hound racing? But any where that has gambling is not kid friendly.
Why? Children aren’t allowed to drive or drink alcohol either, but are frequently around drink and cars. I don’t see the problem.
They might like to drink, that could be dangerous suppose.
Greyhounds aren’t treated that well.
trolling broadsheet is clickbait blood scenting troll
Can Confirm. The dogs is always packed full of chisslers. No age restrictions on betting on the tote neither. At least that’s what I was told when I used to work there.
kids love to hear about the thousands of greyhounds put to sleep (if theyre lucky) each year that are bred for racing but dont make the grade
Is the Herald still going, I thought it had shut up shop ages ago.
Seeing a load of skinny dogs chase a fluffy rabbit in a circle isn’t really going to compete with a trip to the zoo (living or dead), or the new Minions movie
Ah ffs! The dogs is just a great day out. Political correctness gone doolally here.
