I don’t know what they are doing but is it not plausible that they are offering their expertise to Irish Water on best practise etcetera?
Unlikely as the reservoir is operated and maintained by Dublin city Council, so it has nothing to do with Irish Water but Broadsheet don’t care if it’s click bait

To call in specialists when they feel they don’t have the expertise themselves, so the job won’t be fupped up as it might have been in the past and end up costing five times as much? Like any normal business.
Are these the famous consultants all the money has been spent on?
No.
The big sums of money goes to law firms, accountancy firms & the likes of Accenture.
The billing systems and necessary administration stuff also counts as consultancy.
Because these guys are probably bleedin specialists that we don’t have here.

Probably because Vartry reservoir is still managed and operated by Dublin City Council so this post has nothing to do with Irish Water. But I mean other than that tiny detail your anger and outrage is ok

Irish Water is a billing company …. nothing more! It is, in my opinion, filled at the top with has beens, failed CEO, failed consultants, retired county councellors and over paid numpties or realtives of FG/Labour and Redacted. You dont really expect them to know anything now, do you?
