Ah here.
This afternoon.
Tánaiste and Leader of the Labour, Joan Burton arrives at the Glenview Hotel in County Wicklow, for the first day of the party’s Autumn Think-in greeted by local Labour TD Ann Ferris, crawling lickspittle chivalrous press officer Dermot O’Gara and unnamed photographer.
Nice Audi, in fairness.

Standard Audi a6. Most likely the two litre diesel. Nothing particularly extravagant.
By any chance were those 3 caps for a foreign team not normally, or indeed at all associated with rugby?
I’ve already answered that question. ENC cup.
Wrong as usual Jonotti, seems to be a habit of yours ;)

And new it’d set you aback about €65-70k or so. Don’t know what universe you live in Jonotti but that’s an extravagant waste of money. Pratt.
It was prob one of the 40 or so that they bought from Audi for the European presidency. Then sold back after 3 months. You could pick up a 65k A6 for around 40k when they had them in the showroom. All with only about 4k km on them.
Good point-hadn’t thought of that.
Jonotti’s still a Pratt though.
tis still 40k, can get a decent sized 2litre diesel car for half that. so ya tis a waste of money, wonder what shinners would purchase.
Oh, something sensible, like a red Vauxhall Cavalier.
To climb up the ranks in political spin land, you have to do your time holding umbrellas like some subservient cap doffer.
As every white knight knows, if you orbit long enough, you eventually get a little sniff.
Fair play to O’Gara. Ann Ferris should get her own bloody umbrella
Spellcheck. Tánaiste.
It’s all go now. Yesterday it was millions on child care and a drop in tax and today its xmas bonuses, scrapping the USC and portacabins in Eastwall.
Tomorrow its scrapping Irish water and free Government cheese.
Happy days.
I have a company Think-In every morning on the loo after coffee.
Cost to taxpayer = €0
Youre welcome.
These really are recessionary times if poor Joan has to be ferried around in a 2 and a half year old car. (cryface emoji).
Audi drivers are a shower of ladyparts.
Nice to see Joan trapped outside a car for a change. Is that the same Dermot O’Gara who was Welfare Officer (Deputy President) in Trinity Student’s Union? From handing out welfare to taking it back. Well done Labour! Once a deputy, always a depu….
