      No, the French supermarket was the one charging you 10c and hence ripping you off; as they currently have no tax on them there.

      It’s not even a tax, the shops can do what they like with the money they charge, Morrison’s are thinking of giving it all to charity

   I still laugh when I hear ex-ministers crowing on about the bag tax.. how great it is.. pat yourself on the back lads for thinking up a tax nobody else had thought of.

   This place is morphing into Ireland, it’s mad how far ahead we are in nannyism. They only brought in the hiding of cigarettes in shops a few months ago.

   Why aren’t we ever far ahead on the important things?!
