His Take On The Church

“There are three human acts of being born, creating life or making love and dying, and I think they are the three most important things you ever do and for each of these the Church has doctrine which would inspire you to fear all three of them

Hozier on The Meaning of Life with Gay Byrne on Sunday night on RTÉ One at 10.35pm.

And Hozier on on the church and sex.

how can Sam Smith get done for “ripping off” Tom Petty but Hozier gets away scott free?

Feist has a far stronger case than Tom Petty

Ah now, I never liked Gaybo when I was younger, but he did go away , he retired, he is working again because he retirement pot was wiped out in the crash (bank shares I think) , and the fact that he was touched harshly during the crash, well in my book that makes him one of us …

I do find his interview technique patronising , for sure…

…no, I could never quite put my finger on it but Joan nails it…Gay seems to be getting creepier…I always thought he was an apologist for the religious but this Jimmy Saville technique of apparently airing then dismissing any dissenting view is classic powerplay..

I COMPOSED AN ABSOLUTELY COMPELLING SNARE LINE LAST NIGHT, GRANTED IT WAS JUST ABOUT RECORED IN THE FINAL TAKE, WHAT WITH THE DRUM STICK HANGING OUT OF MY ARSE, BUT IN ANY CASE, SURELY THIS GIVES CREDENCE TO ALLOW ME TO SPOUT MY VIEWS ON “LIFE” TO A DODDERY OUL..

Hozier. Grow the beard or shave that fluff off and shave the head man, that straggly mess is too 90s Crusty.

I think that the elephant in the room is the fact that Joan Burton has agreed to come on to Gay’s ‘deep, probing’ (I don’t think)show:….being second in line to Hozer is just to doubly assure – whomsoever watches it – that this is not political…the coalition is plainly pulling out all the stops to get the people on their side and vote them in again. Joan has spoken of her childhood experiences before now – she will be doing so again because Gay will ‘draw it out of her’ in that clever way that he does…
