   Tuthills also forced the closure of The Candy Bar in the Swan Centre in Rathmines when they took over the space on the opposite side to the McDonalds, they insisted on also taking over the kiosk The Candy Bar had occupied for 20 odd years. The Candy Bar was given 1 months notice to quit leaving the long term staff out of work. Really bad form and I personally won’t ever shop in there. Bad grammar has just made me feel even more justified in that!

   Tuthills in known leper colony The Mill Centre, clondalkin were selling Golliwogs a few years ago. The toys not the ice creams.

   Ah, Tuthills. I haven’t been in one of their thrashy shops since the early 80s when they had one in Kilnamanagh Shopping Centre.
   -And that was only because I was bonking Samantha Blandfiord-Hutton at the time.. I didn’t buy anything.
   -It didn’t cost me anything either. It was before she started all that malarkey.
