Cathal Furey of Fan Footage writes:

We want to document last night’s amazing win over Germany through the eyes of the fans and would appreciate the help of the good folk who read Broadsheet. Best fan video uploaded by midnight this Saturday will win €500 cash, a nice sweetener. Any fan video to do with the match is eligible by the way. Could be one filmed at home, in a pub or at work anywhere around the world, not just the Aviva.

    I can see and hear some mad bunch of Tipp heads doing their Alone All Alone Galtee Mountain Biy
    From some squat in Sydney

    Anyone encouraging tossers to spend entire events recording must be shunned.

    No offence like, but your business must fail for society to thrive.

      I can identity with what your saying

      But ya know, without lads trapping stuff like this we’d never have had Eddie Moroney and that U-21 final ( can only imagine what came out of his trap last night BTW) or the “that úcking dog” Mammy or whatever yere having yerselves.

      I’ve been party to some magnificent times and events meself;
      The double
      Ireland 1 Italy 0
      Stuttgart while at a family wedding in Dagenham
      Donkeys winning Derbies

      And some Heartbreakers
      Like the one that recorded “Meath like to get their retaliation in first”

      And the ones that never leave me and keep me shook. Even as I tap this out;
      Ann Lovett
      Stardust

      These are just some snippets from my own National Archive
      And I’m glad there is some evidence left behind when I’m long gone

        Thanks for this wisdom, I overwhelmingly agree

        In fact I have provided an equation to mark the occasion

        {(Good Memories of Few and Far Between Once-0ff Events) EXP Happiness*2} > Annoying C*nts

        WhiIe I have yet to produce a proof to illustrate this I can confirm that Annoying C*nts is a constant.

    Soz, phone was stuck in the pocket and I was too busy jumping up and down Ole-Oleing like a nutjob to remember to take a video/photo. Unbe-fecking-lievable night, the Aviva was electric.
