Really, at this stage, who cares WTF Trump has to say about anything? He is clearly in the pay of the opposition party to the one he “claims” to stand for.

The more he is a d1ck about women, mexicans, syrians, disabled people, verterns … blah de blah the better he makes the opposition look and the closer they come to paying his 2013-2014 tax bill.

That’s an original extrapolation if I ever heard one.

You underestimate the ignorance and apathy of the American nation too much.

The candidates will be decided in February.
Trump will still lead in the Republican nominees, and he’s a guaranteed loser.

The race is between Bernie and Hillary, and Hillary hasn’t got a hope.

      You read it here first.

At the end of the GWB era there was a backlash against his ‘style’. Obama was elected as he offered hope, was the antithesis of GWB in almost every way. Now were are at the end of the Obama era and there is a backlash against him. He has been an OK president, but Irish people massively underestimate the the feelings towards him. Many of his most ardent supporters feel betrayed and or disappointed in his presidency.

So why is Trump doing so well? Everyday I talk to people in New England, a very democratic area, and the answer is quite simple, his message resonates with a a lot of people. People who feel they are being let down and are being forced to apologize for who they are. Trump spits in the face of such forces. Trump is a backlash to Obama.

There is a lot of sniveling from Irish people, how could the elect such a fool, type comments. Just look at the list of incompetents and fools we have leading or parties over the years. People in glass houses and all that.

Poorly educated rednecks and bigots support Trump.

The people who support Trump would never consider supporting a black man.

That is a lazy and incorrect stereotype, I know many highly educated, high earning New Englanders that voted for Obama and may vote for Trump.

That’s complete and utter bullsh*t, and I say that as someone who has lived in New England for more than twenty years.

the only way you could possibly think Obama has been an OK president is if you’ve been taken in by “Brand Obama”. But he’s not going to be remembered for his “charismatic” speeches full of empty rhetoric. Think drone warfare; kill lists; an escalation in illegal, aggressive wars in the Middle East; presiding over the biggest transfer of wealth in history by bailing out US bankers; a sharp rise in the clamp down on whistle blowers; didn’t close Guantanamo, etc. Yep, a real “OK” president!

          @lawless,
The good news is that Trump is not the only other option. There must be someone smart and reasonable out there.

It may be that the POTUS has no real power, any more. The bureaucracy is in control.

I rather like the cut of Donald Trump’s jib.
He’s quite right to say he doesn’t want his country overrun by foreigners, particularly ones who are illegal immigrants.
And it’s about time America started kicking ass even more in the Middle East to sort out those jihadist thugs.
Given the choice I’d certainly vote for The Donald.

Yup. It’s happened to me more than once, in the days I was working crazy hours, that passers-by have knocked on my door and pointed to the keys left in the lock, smiled and gone on their way.

Theye leave their keys in my door. but they come back. it’s not easy but I never said it was.

      Polls ?
Milibland was a shoo-in until his derriere was hit by a large conservative vote.
      Trump is boxing clever.
      Good times.
