On tonight’s episode Mayo News editor Neill O’Neill visits Westport House and lands himself a major scoop. Having decided to visit on foot of rumours of financial trouble, O’Neill speaks with Sheelyn Browne whose family owns the estate and who runs it alongside her sister. Westport House supports up to 2,000 jobs in the region having been developed as a tourist attraction by the family. Neill emerges from the interview with some shocking news – the future of Westport House hangs in the balance.

    The original Browne – one of Cromwell’s men, took over 1000k acres of our family land in Mayo and that of many many others….but still 2k jobs on the line…not good really
