I have issues with 1.3, because if 1.27 is the correct figure and I drive at 16km/h past a train station platform and say there’s a woman on the platform walking at 0.03kph in the opposite direction to that I’m driving. And all the while Hoop sticks her butt out the back window, mooning the woman on the platform.
That begs the question, how fast does the moon pass the station from the perspective of the woman on the platform?
You don’t have to spend an hour doing 16km/h……..only while you’re in the vicinity of the sign!

It wouldn’t take me 16hrs to get out of it’s vicinity, and I’d be walking.
St. John Smythe
why is 16 a more specific number than 10, 15, 20, 23, 38, 42…?
what is at the roots of its specificity?
is 16 a magic number or something?
is it the illuminati at it again?
10m/h = 16km/h
You’re one of these people who have issues with 1.27

* stuffs pipe, lights it and blows rings *
Now, eh?
I referring to when we changed from m/h to km/h with regards to when we changed from punt to euro.
American company in that building, Amazon.
So it’s 10 miles per hour, converted to km/h.
Simple as that.
16 km per hour ~ 10 miles per hour
Now that’s a nice round number for you. You can even count it on your 10 little piggies.
By that logic we should all be driving down the M50 at 96mph. Round it to 10 or 15 kmh. It’s just odd having it as 16
Tell that to the woman on the platform!
