I know you don’t normally do this but I found this iPhone in Temple Bar [Dublin] last night – came with a specific case and we know the names of the two previous callers – please help…

Anyone?

I’m sure they probably thought of calling one of the most recently called numbers to see if they could identify the owner, right? …

I would presume its locked and the recent callers names were on the lock screen. But that’s just me assuming whoever find it might have a few braincells, which is clearly something you don’t assume.

I wouldn’t assume anything ;) … yes, of course, if the phone is locked they can’t ring anyone on it… but if it isn’t, then they should try that… obviously.

If they had brain cells they would by pass lock screen with the siri or check emergency contact. I think you are the one that’s missing a few brain cells.

You can use Siri to bypass a locked screen on the iPhone. If you know the name of the last 2 callers, hold down the home button and say Call

if you click the sos button on the lock screen, then a button might appear in the bottom left, that says medical, if they’ve set it up it should contain and name and a contact number
