Why no Shinners?
Sam
What policies do you think Renua would be copying from the Shinners?

The right wing Catholic ones.

SF while drawing support from the Catholic Nationalist community in the North would not be considered a right wing Catholic organisation, FG on the other hand would be almost inseparable from right wing Christianity both Catholic and Protestant. Most older FGers would be to the right of Pastor James McConnell and his associates.

SF were anti-abortion until last year’s Ard Fheis, and the only the time I can recall a SF TD going against the party line was over the issue of abortion, so there is definitely a paternalistic-Catholic streak there.

FG and renua are a million miles away from those other parties.
Delusional.
Willfully so
Yeah, but in the hodgepodge of “Where has Lucinda scraped up her policy ideas?”, FG feature pretty prominently.
On the ball! These deserve a wider audience.

I bet you say that to all the girls.

That’s a winner ;)
