‘sup?

The High Court yesterday ordered that a man who lost an appeal aimed at stopping a Revenue investigation into an allegedly negligent 16-year-old tax return cannot be named.

The Hon Ms Justice Iseult O’Malley said that the man can only be identified by his initials, DOB, in reports until she hears further submissions today.

Martin Hayden, SC, senior counsel for DOB, requested that his client not be named. Úna Tighe, counsel, for Revenue, argued that the man should be named as his tax appeal had been heard in public…

Let him sue Fluffy, and when hit with suing for damage to “good name and reputation”.

Demand that he prove there’s a “good name and reputation” to be damaged in the first place. He couldn’t win that in any fair court, not in a fit.

Hopefully DOB will be more worried about CAB than his “good name and reputation”.
Reputation for routing large sums of money to Michael Lowry, according to Moriarty Tribunal.

Apart from family court court and rape cases, I thought justice was supposed to be seen to be done in public? Justice done and seen to be done and all that.

    I haven’t a clue who DOB is.
It’s probably not denis o’brien who Martin Hayden represented in a previous issue with Revenue

Or the same denis o’brien who Martin Hayden represented in court action against RTE, GAvin O’Reilly and Red Flag Consulting.
The same denis o’brien who by the looks of it is putting Martin Hayden’s children through college?
    Nah, couldn’t be.

What could have been happening 16 years ago that is still relevant to Revenue now.
Could time be catching up with Mr Redacted at last?
Be nice to think so, but I think he has too much on too many to worry.

Can we please just refer to this guy as [redacted] each and every time. It would take an age to explain but suffice to say that search engines work in very specific ways that given enough data points eventually ‘learn’ geo specific terms as used in the country of origin.

Voldemort called. He would like you to all stop sullying his alias by trying to associate it with that spineless, greedy, grasping, penny-pinching, treacherous, low-life scum DOBby.

    Ta.

If I get called out for repeatedly saying that DOB is a corrupt individual it is only because I see it as my duty as a citizen to do so and to continually repeat the findings of the Moriarty tribunal that DOB gave money to Lowry for favours.

    Thanks.

“Martin Hayden, SC, senior counsel for DOB, requested that his client not be named”

Why did I hear on the news, that his counsel has no problem with himself being named?

Once he lost his appeal and was going to be named anyways is it?

News for simpletons is what we have on RTE.
