    What we need in this economy are more gambling establishments, and so-called “payday loan” floaters, really ad a touch of class to the whole set-up, let the market destroy, no, sorry, decide….

    I waited expectantly to see what other new business was here when work started. I have to admit I was a little disappointed too when I saw it was a casino type place.
    Oh well.

    It was called Murphy’s pub but hasn’t been a pub in years. The owner had it in flats. Since sold it has reopened as a “casino”, slot machines etc…
    Seems to be open very late if not 24hrs!
    Can’t verify if it’s owned now by paddy powers or not though.
