Great video by Dublin videographer Christian Tierney (uploaded this morning) with Gavin James [performing new single Haze) at the Olympia [Dublin]. Worth a watch…

The audience should have been added in earlier. Also should have lit them better. Would also have been nice to show the doorman.

    Nice idea, badly executed.

I thought the whole thing was executed really well. But if you’re some sort of professional seasoned Videographer I would love to see some of your work.

Yes. My opinion is more important then yours, that’s what I was saying. Thanks for playing.

Yes, you are right. My opinion is invalid because it is negative. I’m sorry. I will never comment in a negative manner again. What do I know? I’m just one person. Sorry. Should I log off now? Thanks.

I don’t have a problem with negative criticism I just found your criticisms clearly unfounded. You say that it would be nice to have a door man. Why? What would this add to the video? If anything it would take away from the central focus of the video, that being the singer. It’s the same thing with your comment on the audience. Adding the audience earlier adds nothing to the quality of the video, and lighting them better also takes away from the singer. The viewer is meant to be aware of the presence audience without losing focus on the singer.

I’m sorry you didn’t like my video Funster. May I ask what was wrong with the execution? What value would having the audience added in earlier have added to the video? They come in less than halfway through the video. Why a doorman? What would that add? There’s never a doorman at the stage door so it wouldn’t make sense. I didn’t have control over the lighting, that was the lighting set for the show. We only had one attempt at this and had to work around the already set show production.
