A timely swipe at the election broadcast moratorium.

Featuring the subtle acting chops of Today FM’s ‘pol corr’ Gavan Reilly. His ‘waiting’ is pure method.

Gavan will be presenting Today FM’s General Election coverage as soon as polls close tonight.

I lost the will to live looking at this.
However, he does have nice eyes in fairness. Never noticed them before. It might be a cabin fever type thing, being just him on the screen. But I’m sort of smitten now. Hello Gavin, I said HELLO Gavin.

Wonder which senior Communicorp execs office they nicked, as there’s no chance the newsroom looks like that.

I’ve often wondered why they start the election coverage as soon as the polls close. We’d be much better served by light music and repeats of Scrap Saturday until results start coming in at lunchtime tomorrow.

This lad tries hard and is obviously well meaning but he is totally off the pace. Again and again, he makes basic mistakes and hides his lack of indepth knowledge under waves of cliches. For instance, earlier tonight, he was tweeting that the public are allowed into the counts tomorrow. Shocking schoolboy error. Then again, he is a Communicorp hack

      ‘This lad’?
      -Which lad is that?

Again and again, he makes basic mistakes…
-Really, like indepth (in-depth) / cliches (clichés), and a seriously detrimental misunderstanding of when NOT to use commas / when to use full-stops to make a coherent point?

Trying hard is not what you do, so stop castigating others for a laziness you’re guilty of yourself.

      I hope you didn’t vote.

          Dear linbinius,
I love your American spellchecker just as much as you do. I don’t use a spellchecker myself but I fully appreciate their comical value.
          – Keep on fighting the good fight and fudge the begruckers.
