I schooled my dogs in aversion therapy by pouring Tabasco on their mud pies. Pooches seem to freak at anything with a high vinegar content so they stayed well clear. Never any trouble after that once you exclude the sunglasses, pens, rugs, remote controls, boots, shoes, belts and wallets destroyed in reprisal.
