[Sinn Féin’s] Dessie Ellis posters abandoned on waste ground in his constituency. Still there last night 9th March. Tweeted him on 6th March to advise. No response as yet.
if you’ve no response then get onto the local litter warden, they will give the appropriate response to him
+1. And stop telling everyone what a wonderful quasi moral litter warden you are.. Better still pick them up and put them in your green bin. Exhibitionest rage.
Shinners are the worst for not taking posters down in time and/or disposing of them correctly. It’s the same after every election.
+32
Did you mean +26?
Sure the ink came free anyway
‘abandoned on waste ground’….. how often was that term used in the past!
ha ha, great spot!
Abandoned? More likely they were pulled down and discarded by someone who really doesn’t like Sinn Fein. There’s a lot of it about these days. It’s understandable. Yet somehow the article still manages to blame Sinn Fein for it, though in a tongue in cheek way.
Happens every election. Posters goes missing before the election only to mysteriously reappear after the poster removal deadline.
I really, really don’t like SF, but this is quite possibly what happened.
If they go in the Green bin… is that like a transfer?
Ah give over
If they offend you that much dispose of them yourself
Why should they pick up after someone else?
I wasn’t going to hop out of the car in the middle of a dual-carriageway in case the traffic started moving again
‘poor judgement on the part of a candidate to let his/her posters go to waste like that, they’ll be in use again within the next 12 months.
