Behold Territorio de Zaguates – a refuge for stray dogs in the Santa Barbara mountains of Costa Rica. Home to more that 900 rescued dogs who roam freely about the hills during the day, returning to cosy beds provided by the staff at night.
Visitors are encouraged, walks with the pack can be arranged and adoptions are, unsurprisingly, fairly common.

Whats where you step.
Ah…not the ‘Ashtown Pound’ then.
Memo to self : If visiting, don’t wear your Pedigree Chum trousers.
That raises a smile :)
It’s my happy place come to life!!
That’s a lot of poo for 900 dogs.
Do the dogs want to be adopted or do they love being with their mates?
Serious levels of butt sniffing. You’d never get around them all.
ME BABIES!

I wish there were more places like this. You are going to be well rewarded in the end for taking care of God’s animals. Big smiles, lots of prayers and may blessings befall you always.
