RTÉ reports:

A former employee of NAMA has been before Dublin District Court, charged with disclosing confidential information.

Paul Pugh, 56, from Clontarf Road in Dublin is charged with intentionally disclosing confidential information about McCabe Builders UK, by email to Gehane Tewfik, in a London-based investment company Connaught and Whitehall Capital UK, on 6 June 2012.

He is charged under the 2009 NAMA Act with disclosing the information when not authorised or obliged to do so.

    Oh i say surely not, them chaps seem awfully decent sorts and surely would never dream of doing such a thing.
    As we all know, very honest types too, of course.
    Goes without saying.

    So if you’re a threat to Nama you get charged but if you’re a threat to the state coffers as a senior Nama official you’re protected.

      It’s a summary trial or the nature of the offence is not serious. Hopefully it’s the first.

    What about the gang at the top when will they be investigated, some of their
    decisions have cost billions, whats being done about the sell off in the North
    which was a give away, who profited…..? who ended up with the Isle of Man
    money.

    The first minister at the time has hardly been seen or even spoken about since.
    A coincidence? ,perhaps.
    Anyhow, lets hope he’s enjoying his retirement.
