Motherhood statements usually don’t get politicians into this much trouble.

The Remainian MSM are blowing it out of all proportion. She was asked about three leading questions by Times journalist Rachel Sylvester – the leading questions were not quoted in the article. The replies were and were consequently made to seem unpleasant and OTT. They have left the context in which the replies were given, out of the story. We will see more of this in coming weeks. This is because May is the “conspiracy” candidate.
The wags are calling it “Project Smear”.

The recording of the interview was made public after she denied ever saying it, which really doesn’t look good. Also, it would have been fine if she hadn’t to have mentioned May, but she did. Maybe it was a calculated play to the family values brigade but I doubt it, more likely a blunder of which there will be more.
It has harmed her chances because when voting the Torys will elect the most electable and she has done herself serious harm with the woman vote.
Am I right in assuming that May is very pro LGBTI rights and Leadsom anti?

Neither of the candidates look worthy. If this is the best of the lot, tis no wonder the UK is in such a mess.
