      I wonder why PBP, etc don’t argue that since we already pay income tax, all public transport should be free

        I’d say they would have a pretty good argument considering it is completely free, bus and rail for pensioners. Hell they even get a plus 1 gratis also.

      Fair increases every year since they stopped any increases for drivers’ pay. There was even twice in one year, if I recall correctly. We would’ve got an increase regardless, but of course the spin will be that it was the increase in drivers’ pay that made it happen. People have terribly short memories (when it suits them).

      Dublin Bus management have made an awful balls of the service, in fairness (although there’s a fairly good argument that that was intentional).

      It’s a disgrace that Dublin Bus have mastered time travel and refuse to share the technology with the taxpayers of this county.
