I think she’s very stylish Hoops, I know a lot of people dislike her but I think she’s cool.

Bit disappointed with the photo of yesterday’s game that the Times led with. it’s a fairly negative representation, there were some much nicer photos of the sportsmanship at the end of the game that could have been used.

They should show this kind of thing and not whitewash it. There’s a dirty side to sport where violence and aggression is justified and it shouldn’t be.

        “….Violence and Aggression…..”
        FRO wi’yerself ffs

What we saw yesterday and last Sunday week was hard and fast attacks being met with hard line don’t give’em an inch Defence FROM BOTH TEAMS

        Both days out were fabulous
        Absolutely savage games

And thanks to all sides for a brilliant end to the Championship Season

        See ye next year

I was talking about what’s going on in the photo. Lads squaring up to each other, pushing each other in the face outside of the actual game.

There was more skill on show yesterday than in the first game, however that was not a game to showcase our national sports.

            Would ya give over

            n’ stop talking complete bollix

in terms of both codes putting on a showcase, 2016 Championship season has been one of the best

If you don’t like the physicality of Gaelic Games, don’t watch them

            Stick t’ the golf

          2. rotide

            one of the best?

What are you smoking Frilly. Dublin Kerry was brilliant, most of the rest of the championship was appalling, particularly Mayo’s run which depended more on bloodymindedness than ability.

They played above themselves the last two games though, I’ll give them that,

That the The Times for you, always taking a dig at Ireland, even in the ‘Irish’ edition. Murdoch hates us.

The Indo didn’t mention anything on its front page about Ronan Mullen’s disgusting article referring to FFA babies as debris. I don’t believe in hell, but he does and I hope he’s plagued with thoughts of ending up there for the rest of his long, miserable life. A black hearted waste of skin, masquerading as a human being.

    1. topsy

You lie, lie, lie, lie. He did not refer to babies as debris. Read the article again or possibly don’t. As has been said before, ” don’t let facts get in the way of lies” your lies in this instance.

“Lately, we have been presented with the sad scenario of people who got a diagnosis of foetal abnormality. We were told how tragic it was for them to have to go to England for an abortion, and that they had to use a courier to bring their baby’s body back for burial. Doesn’t that sad little story, in which a sick unborn baby was denied the dignity of being allowed to reach a natural end, illustrate how heartless abortion providers are? Whether it’s in Dublin or Durham, the contents of an abortion are debris – not the kind of thing you put into a coffin and grieve over.”

The Mayo goal-keeper had a nightmare, That high ball that he fumbled and bounced off his head in the second half? He tried to defend his goal and brought down the Dub – he gets a Black for that. I’m not one for believing in curses, but maybe Mayo can’t win an All-Ireland until all the ’51 Squad are dead. Stephen Cluxton’s speech didn’t involve a three cheers for Mayo salute – kinda unsporting?

Grow up? I’m not sure what aspect of my comment acquires you to encourage me to “Grow up” – I would encourage you, however to continue the inhalation of blue smoke from Hill 16. By the way, I was born in Stillorgan.

    1. rotide

It was very strange that Cluxton didn’t give a three cheers for Mayo. Not sure what that was about.
