The Nissan e-NV200 WORKSPACe, created in collaboration with UK design workshop Studio Hardie, is the world’s first electric-powered van/office.
Filled with space saving fold-away space and extendible sections, the van contains an integrated fold-out desk, touch-screen computer, wifi, Bluetooth audio, smartphone-controlled LED lights, a panoramic glass roof, a mini-fridge and a barista-level coffee maker.
Half an hour at a roadside EV dock charges the whole unit to 80% capacity.

I’ll have you know I’m rather fond of hats!
I’m also a huge fan of ‘titfers’ but they just don’t go with long hair on men.

Is that the desinger/maker guy from the small small spaces thing on channel 4?
Yes. William Hardie from George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.
His website is well worth a look http://www.studiohardie.com

I did consider this a couple of years ago for working on-site at a client’s place but also for nipping away to meetings around the country.
Bland unimaginative insurance clerks couldn’t fathom how to insure it. It melted their square brains.
If you could’ve got them to class it like a campervan the insurance would’ve been feck all…. pity.
