Wow, out of touch, poorly written and unfunny. RTE is on a roll today.
Completely fantastic show.

Awful nostalgia template rubbish.
Wrong
Oh dear. I never saw the first series of this purported “comedy” – and having seen an advert today for the second series (why?), I will never see it.
Remember: If your household, business or institution possesses a television or equipment capable of receiving a television signal, you are required by law to have a television licence costing €160 every 12 months. Conviction for non-payment of a television licence (first offence) is a fine of up to €1,000.
As of September 2016 the evasion rate was estimated at 13.75%, representing approximately €40m annual lost revenue per annum. It can be extrapolated from this data that TV licensing revenue per year amounts to approximately €250m.
Of this sum TG4 receives approximately €9.75m, in addition to being provided with one hour of programming per day by RTE. An additional 5% is slated for use by the BCI. The remains make up 50% of RTE’s budget.
All so they can make shite like this.
An RTE comedy! It looks hilarious. I hope Leather Jacket Guy is in it.
They also made the Rubberbandits show which looks good.
