Hmmm, Why all the wet gear? I thought the Good Lord split the skies and sent the rain to Spain. Or Mexico.
The picture seems to contradict the one showing a smaller crowd.
No it’s an entirely different angle. There are ones from the podium and ones from the back. Both show smaller crowds as does the official headcount.

yup, they would have you believe it was a beautiful sunny day and that Darth Vader was not Luke’s father.
The commonly spread picture of loads of empty space on the mall was taken 45mins before the inauguration, as stated by the BBC. There may have been smaller crowds but not as bad as was made out.
The comparison Obama picture was also taken at roughly the same time. There was a picture circulating on Twitter that was misrepresented of Trump parading past empty streets, but this was from a rehearsal and not the event.

I don’t know why Trump and co are so sensitive about this, it’s a bigger crowd than Bush or Clinton got, he just seems so fixated on Obama.

on the level above and behind trump theres a cameraman with a green hi viz jacket. on the level just below him check out those with their backs to the wall…two of them asleep, one looking surly and another lad looks like he is waiting for a bus. and the woman in the blue anorak is thinking “kill me now, dear god, kill me now”!
I see two wheelchairs, fewer gunmen, no Nigel Farage (I looked hard). Have they all been photoshopped out?
I like the army snipers and their spotters doted around the roof tops. Interesting to think about all the hidden spying tech with a mile of trump.
Ah here, most of the people who attend inaugurations are government employees in DC who get the day off. They can apply for tickets for the parade or the mall and usually bring their families along irrespective of who is becoming President. The fact that most of them stayed away this year, speaks for itself.

The dude behind the SCOTUS looks like he just let out a ripper, or he is undressing one of the Trumps (be it the wife, the daughter,…. could be the son by the look of him).
