Using your phone while driving is an offence.
Sending a email or sending/reading a text message (which uses a phone number) is banned, tweeting, and taking pics, however ain’t.

Correct
Before the smartphones arrived, the phone between the ear and the shoulder was about as dangerous as it got in terms of driver distraction. Now it’s media-posting, emails and selfies. The oul wans are the worst.
