I made this Short film about Dublin in a day with Al Hooi. It was shot and screened as part of the Patrick’s day festival a couple of years back now but aside from the 400 people at the screening no-one has seen the piece.
The beautiful track is available digitally here and on vinyl here.
As it is a love letter to Dublin and Ireland it might be relevant for a mention on the week of national pride we’re approaching.

for a city that’s so diverse the faces shown are predominantly young, pretty, hairy and white. it’s surprisingly bland given its entire subject matter is Irish/Dublin faces.
I salute the fact it’s not like a Benetton advert with a tick box list for everything giving a fake looking result.
It looks like an honest and accurate cross section of people in Dublin to me. Certainly not some Sth William st hipster filled production
