Sunday evening.
Dingle, County Kerry.
Maria Brosnan writes:
Had to share this video of, what was without doubt, the highlight of [music and arts festival] Féile Na Bealtaine in Dingle.
On Sunday evening, outside Dick Mack’s pub, the secret location for the Oíche Bealtaine performance was revealed – we had to go to a field out the back of Curran’s pub off Main Street.
We arrived into a pagan world – full of straw-men structures and performers dressed in animal skins. Any fear of a reenactment of The Wicker Man or Burn the Witch was allayed when the music kicked off and the crowd joined in the pagan rave.
A great way to kick off the Summer.

“Never go with a hippie to a second location”
I know I’m unpopular but I have to say it – “Pagans” give me such a pain in me hole – always did, and always will. Utter crap.
