How we became so skilled on the road.
Clontarf Traffic School, unspecified year 1970s.
Features angry guard, frightened children and some swerving.
Good times.

have brilliant memories of that oul place….always the arguments over who got to go in the pedal cars. I did and that’s all that mattered.
I didn’t and I am still quite irate about it.
We had a road marked out in the yard of our primary school so we could learn. I got a Judge badge for being awesome at road stuff, presumably. I remembered to one look for a safe place etc etc.
I remember being brought here while in primary school to learn the rules of the road. The rest of the year was absolute tripe compared to that!
Getting into the first pedal car in the line was the highlight of primary school for me :-)
anyone else allowed to sit on their Dad’s knee and steer/ hold his beer
the Malahide coast road bends were mine !
