Missing You is a unique series about the lengths the Irish diaspora go to maintaining and nurturing relationships with their loved ones despite the thousands of miles between them. The show captures their stories and witnesses their relationships all through the confines of video calls.

I’ve a sibling living half a world away. I’d say there’s plenty who can relate.
We’re lucky that we have skype and whatsapp and facetime and the like so we can enjoy that sense of immediacy when talking to loved ones abroad.
Do an hour face time everyday with my sister, not even talking just you know in the background pottering or whatever.
Is this worthy of a television programme though? RTE are obsessed with the ‘diaspora’
Well, one-in-six of the Irish population lives abroad, so I imagine that it is something that resonates with a lot of people.
