The University of London carried out clinical trials and demonstrated that the cannabinoids reduced the tumour in brain cancer. The research findings were published in The Lancet.

This was NOT a clinical trial. Clinical trials refers specifically to human medical research. The article to which you refer pertains to research on mice. While promising, you cannot call it a cure, also cannabinoids were used ALONGSIDE traditional radiation treatment.
Furthermore I see no reference to the Lancet within the article you linked to.
