I’m really afraid of getting ill here, and we’re all about 2 paychecks from homelessness – so if there’s billions for Banking bailouts and Olympic Stadia – there’s money to help families living in barbaric situations, the elderly, mental health, schools, roads, water system upgrades, investment in the fraud squad..
Between this and the property mess, it’s like we’re replaying the Celtic Tiger by going from zero to hedonism without experiencing any actual prosperity.
It’s very refreshing, actually. We could host another world competition, or smaller maybe, european. Water sports, for example. We have our bright stars Murphy and ODonovans to compete – young talented faces of new Ireland. New stars will rise, of course, that could be very interesting. if our costal waters are suitable. But then again, there is a likelihood of unabated profit carnage. We could end up with Fyre festival like event.
