The one clamped is a Honda Deauville, the one in front is a Yamaha 900 Diversion.

will be a poorer tourist after that fine!

if there was anyone with an angle grinder, or bolt cutters in the area, do the tourists a favour, and also keep the clamps. not like the company will be able to chase for compensation/payment.

So where exactly are you meant to display your ticket without it fluttering away in the wind?

Rode my motorbike back to Dublin last year from London to visit family, rang DCC to ask what the rules were about Bikes using pay and display, was told that since there was no way to securely display a ticket on a motorbike, they effectively weren’t allowed to use them , when i asked what the alternative was i got the verbal equivilent of a shrug.
you can’t fail to provide parking for a huge chunk of road users, and then get surprised when they use spaces (or side walks) they shouldn’t.
also for all we know they did pay and display, only for someone to steal the ticket from under the windscreen.
