Some very exciting news to bring you today… Christ Church Cathedral is pleased to present the newest member of the team; Laurence Magnificat!
Laurence comes to us from Dún Laoghaire and is just over four months old. When he’s a little older he’ll be with us in the cathedral during the day, welcoming tourists and making sure the organ scholars are practicing sufficiently!
Best of all you can follow his exploits on Twitter! Follow @ChristChurchCat for all his latest goings on….

Surely it should be Laurence Meowgnificat?
That poor cat- he will hate large groups of strange people annoying him ALL the time. Perhaps they should have gotten a dog instead?? No matter, he will escape soon probably and find a life more suited to his quiet cat nature!
It’s R.I.P. for all poor church mice!
hope he doesn’t wind up like … y’know … that other christ church cat …
Don’t know what that means. What I do know from experience is that cats are not natural “meeters and greeters” – so the god botherers should thing again, and get a Springer Spaniel or something.
