Multiple Pro-Choice

This afternoon.

Leinster House, Dublin 2

Members of ROSA (for Reproductive rights, against Oppression, Sexism and Austerity) claiming that 6 out of 10 people in Ireland are now Pro Choice after the latest Red C/Amnesty Poll showed 60% of people now support allowing access to abortion on request until at least 12 weeks in pregnancy.

They cannot have a referendum on this as there will be too many people illegally voting whilst living abroad.

People should NOT have to protest in weather like this.
There should be NO NEED to protest for basic Human Rights.

    End ‘um with a referendum.
We all know how this will finish so let’s go.

Unborn humans have rights to memes. So do their mothers. Their right o life is enshrined in the Irish constitution:

      Article 40.3.3°:
The State acknowledges the right to life of the unborn and, with due regard to the equal right to life of the mother, guarantees in its laws to respect, and, as far as practicable, by its laws to defend and vindicate that right.

We even had a referendum about this already.

Do you want to deny the unborn and their mothers their rights?

I got myself a food critic here… going on ten mins now, on the fine dining of Supermacs chicken burgers, and how “ye could all, in his company ,have got a burger AND got the bus!”.
But, they’re not havin’ it! They were right to go when they did… They’d have missed it if they all went in… “we’d be… stragglin’ ” says one.

I thought it was a dodgy poll myself. Either way, asking someone a YES/NO question on abortion isn’t very useful. Its a complicated issue (up to how many weeks of pregnancy is it okay to terminate? 20? 30? 35?) which should ultimately be sorted by legislators. Its what we elect them for. Not everything can be fixed by a referendum.
