“They used to wear brown shirts, sing the Horst Wessel song, and have a sign..” then @ghook waves a Hitler salute.
This is the level of debate on the @BBC about cycling and the (evidence-based) #BikeLife2017 report. Remarkable.@SustransNI @peterwalker99https://t.co/R6zFJ17vMs pic.twitter.com/81YgAgY6wg

The comment was made in response to hate speech against a member of the audience – that was totally lost in a four minute segment

Iron Cross with oak leaves for for blowhardness.
I’ll say one thing. It’s no wonder the level of public discourse is as poor as it is when the likes of Hook is still given a platform. He only has one track – being stupidest person in the room and saying anything that pops into his head, regardless of how ill thought out.
Why don’t they just broadcast drinks fighting behind the bins at Spar? It would almost certainly make more informative debate.
THERE’S A DRINKS FIGHT BEHIND THE BINS IN SPAR!!! WHICH ONE, I”M THERE??
Sounds like the Chat Pit
…..by jesus I’d pay good money to see hook battered behind the bins at Spar.
Hook is a living legend. Can’t wait until he returns to the airwaves.
Looks like Cap’n Rapey hasn’t left the airwaves.
Ha, I’d watch that. You’re spot on.
Brian Keenan has suffered enough, now he has to sit next to George!?
who let that gobshite on the telly?
