Mine too. Can I just say Imelda is a most beautiful cat. Thank you.

Now Here’s Sentient to kick off today’s poo slinging monkeyfest!

Hey Broadsheet, why don’t you print some actual news relevant to this debate instead of your continual stream of insipid ‘Yes’ propaganda? You are still claiming to be a news site? Or has that presence gone out the window now you realise the Zeitgeist is turning against you?.

American’s are beginning to reject the Abortion free-for-all created by Row vs Wade.

America is not Ireland. What has this to do with us?

Aside from the fact that Americans are attempting to interfere in our affairs, our referendum, our democracy.

They aren’t really a nation that we wish to emulate.

      1. Sentient Won

The Zeitgeist is turning Mildred, you’re on the wrong side of history. No wonder you wouldn’t want this talked about.

Soros has directly interfered in our affairs and you’re fine with that.

        Repealers are such hypocrites.

        1. mildred st. meadowlark

I literally have nothing to say to errant nonsense like that.

You sound a bit like Enda Sherlock. I’m not engaging with that level of fanaticism.

            Troll be trollin’.
The best answer to such posts is: “Sure, sure.”
            That always enrages Mr Andy.

          House!

Do I collect the coffee maker prize now or is it posted?

          1. Cian

“coffee maker”? nah, you win an abortion all expenses paid trip to Manchester. You’ll be put up in a budget hotel and we’ll spare no expense for entertainment.

            Bring your own shoe box.

          2. Brother Barnabas

but can you only shout triggered when you’ve got the house or also just to confirm you’ve been triggered?

actually, to be properly triggered, do you have to be in denial about it?

          3. SOQ

No that’s one of the words.

            So what have we got?
            Snowflake
            Echo Chamber
            Soros
            Virtue-signalling
            Triggered
            Femi-nazis
            Puppies
            Kittens

Must check Milo’s page for more after I come back from the dentist. Pretty much a similar experience but sure, someone has to do it.

I made a typo. ‘Roe’ is the correct spelling. The woman in question was used by the pro-abortion machine to achieve their aims. She later regretted her actions and involvement.

“Yes, that Jane Roe – the young woman who was supposedly raped, and who was supposedly seeking the illegal abortion that she petitioned the Supreme Court to let her have.

The only problem? She wasn’t raped. She was told to lie about that by the pro-abortion activists who used a confused and impressionable young woman to achieve their aims.”

        https://www.lifesitenews.com/blogs/woman-behind-roe-v.-wade-helping-legalize-abortion-was-the-biggest-mistake

        1. Frill the 8th

it was already legal in Texas in the cases of Rape and Incest
          50 years ago

          50 bloody years ago………..
and the girl was 20 years old
          with 2 kids already

so please do not make her story about your hate

        2. Listrade

          Oh you poor, poor fool.

She lied about rape while trying to get an abortion. She was advised to do so by her friends as abortion was legal for rape. However that lie was very quickly found out long before any court case.

The Supreme Court decision had nothing to do with rape, it was whether states could restrict access to abortion. They knew about her lie, it was never hidden. They decided 7-2 that state abortion laws are too restrictive.

You lie. Again. Either that or you’re a fool who believes anything that will confirm their deepest paranoia.

    2. Janet, I ate my Avatar

      lol
yes let’s listen to that mature rational bunch
Americans are the teenage Nation of the world IMO

      1. Sentient Won

There would be no official abortion industry without Row v Wade, which we now know was a case built on lies.

Just like the Irish Repeal movement.

        Comparisons are useful and illustrative.

        1. realPolithicks

The Roe vs Wade decision was issued in 1973, Britain legalized abortion in 1967…but don’t let the facts get in the way of your BS.

    3. sheepeyes

      *Roe.
If you’re going to troll at least do so with due respect to spelling.

    4. realPolithicks

“American’s are beginning to reject the Abortion free-for-all created by Row vs Wade

That’s iowa which is a very conservative state and in no way indicative of what is happening in the states.

My dog can’t decide whether he wants to go outside or stay in the house most mornings so not sure i’m going to pay much attention to his opinion

nevertheless we removed his testicles last year, likely against his wishes, so i think he’d have some very forthright views on bodily integrity

  3. Frill the 8th

mine dog is still in bed

she’d vote for who ever offered the best bikkies anyway

    1. nellyb

our neighbours’ cat feeds at all households, no prejudice, seems perennially content. gorgeous animal

  4. painkiller

Haven’t been on here in a few days but the Repeal threads are getting nasty!

SOQ, I couldn’t respond to your comment directly but it’s a divisive tactic to list a set of terms to identify your adversaries. It’s kinda totalitarian-minded. I appreciate these are used in alt-right circles but….

    1. There are Snowflakes on both sides.
    2. Both have Echo Chambers****
    3. Soros is problematic no matter which side you are on.
    4. Both engage an Virtue-signalling among their peers.
    5. Both are easily Triggered.
    6. For every Femi-nazi, you have a Toxic-male on the other side – both sides should seek to call these out
7/8. Not sure about Puppies or Kittens but I guess it’s sad that we use our pets to further our political agendas.

****Everyone should be conscious of an echo-chamber….I mean, look the role group-think played in the lead up to bank bailout. People have no problem with groupthink when they are benefiting from it. There has been a cultural backlash in the US and UK and it is not hard to see it happening in Australia, Canada, Sweden and Ireland before long. It doesn’t always end well, so maybe it’s best to manage things better.

      1. Bob

        > Femi-nazi, you have a Toxic-male

Seems pretty clear that both sides at the extreme edges do use trite clichés.
Maybe you want to argue that one side is more dismissive than the other but I think the point is fair.
