Did you stay up?
Thank you to, clockwise from top left: Dermot Bohan, ‘Preposterous‘, Alan O’Reilly, celebrity accountant Vanessa Foran, Stephen Garland and Olga Cronin, our panel on last night’s Broadsheet on the Telly.
The show can be viewed in its entirety above.
Maverick Carlow-based weather guy Alan, talked heatwave, chances of rain and the moody Met Eireann mob.
Olga, meanwhile, tied up a few Disclosures Tribunal loose ends while Stephen and Vanessa furiously jigged over Michael Flatley’s big screen debut. Dermot observed proceedings in gravity-free ‘mission control’ .
Parental guidance necessary.
Sorry.

Aha! Airpods smugness.
A fantastic bit of kit.
Just an off topic. How come no other media is reporting this.
Ireland ‘step closer’ to gender equality after referendum on women’s place in home clause announced

No other media?
The whole thing is a massive con which has nothing to do with “gender equality”. I have long been astonished that nobody has sought to bring a Constitutional action because they were (paraphrase) “obliged by economic necessity to work outside the home to the detriment of their duties in the home”. I put it down to the fact that 1. We have no facilities for class actions in this country, and 2. All of our much vaunted Personal and Family rights under the Constitution are so hedged about with qualifications -“as far as practicable”, “in accordance with the public good” etc as to be largely illusiory. The proposed referendum is meaningless because its subject matter is meaningless.
Look at all those smiley faces! :)
And go you Mr Gallard, that’s some life story you have to tell!
Excuse me Mr Garland for the typo!
