Behold the Aston Martin Volante Vision Concept Aircraft – a VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) short-hop ‘urban aircraft’ concept offering a glimpse of the auto manufacturer’s designs on the luxury aerospace market.
Supported by Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and the Rolls Royce aircraft engine company, the plane has a central propellor providing vertical lift with two smaller engines for horizontal motion.

Except that’s incorrect and it’s known as a heliplane.
How many spaces would THAT take up in Tesco?
pah! more Waitrose than Tesco I’d say
(waiting patiently on that getting announced for somewhere along the D4/D6 belt…until then we’re not truly back baby)
Til then the Baker’s Pantry or Donnybrook Fair.
you wouldn’t get your weekly shop into that yoke, but you’d be home in no time.
in fairness – if you had the disposable income for one of those – then the staff will be arranging the shopping
now, to me, the only reason why you’d want that much cash is to rub other peoples noses in it. taking it to ascot or somewhere just doesn’t garner the same satisfaction as parking it on mountjoy square and paying a young lad a score to mind it.
My brother in law thought he’d be clever by leaving his german shepherd in the car instead of paying the local scobes “minding money”, to which their response was “Does your dog out fires, does he?”
Young Q will be fingerwagging 007 when he crashes this in the next Bond film!
Why is it a Volante? Aston reserve this name for convertibles. Seems a bit reckless to take this thing for a spin with the roof off.
