Haha! AK47 would be as much of a disaster as the Poison Dwarf and iMoan. The Irish Labour Party under the current leadership is dead. The party founders would be turning in their graves at the grinning mug of Burton cutting the ribbon on a food bank.

    1. Ina.

And Ivana Bacik. The party of James Connolly going from that to Ivana. It’s like evolution in reverse.

  2. Worlds Biggest Ranter

Dangerous levels of narcissism in this man. Obsessed with self advancement and ultimate control. Hell bent on being in charge of something, anything so long as he has POWAAAR. Those traits alone should be enough reason for us to exempt him form holding a position in public office. This most certainly is not not about us or the Labour Party. This is very much about Alan Kelly. We should be afraid.

……. will probably have endless longevity in Irish politics using the parish pump style of the bygone greats such as, Haughey, Burke etc.

He’s a hated man outside of the party, if they want to kill the party then by all means put him in power.

  4. Frilly Keane

He has to make a run at it for two reasons

his seat which was always a bit soft
is even more at risk since the boundary change
(he’s now having to share Newport with Willie O’Dea for instance)

and if Labour manage to get a few names re-elected
ol’ AK won’t get a look in

Labor are dead, but refuse to acknowledge it. Making this clown the leader would be the final nail in the coffin.

…lucky for him he’s in Tipp…anywhere else in the country he’d be roundly beaten but the county that gives us Mattie and Lowry he’ll be a shoo-in…
